Documentation, reports written

• fonts - how various font packages work together to allow an application to print a letter?
• xkb - configure your keyboard to allow typing of the characters you need.
• optimizations.ps.gz - a document which presents some general sequential and parallel optimizations (to better exploit the cache memory and the processor), using a kohonen neural network implementation as example (which highly improves the execution time).
• script.html (in French) - introduction to the sh shell scripts.
• uP-clock timer - the most accurate timer for Pentium and MIPS processors (at their clock precision).
• pseudo-bresenham - an algorithm based on Bresenham's one which draws all the points of the line, not only one point per axis.
• knowledge base - tree-based structure of directories considered deprecated? - an idea about storing files in multiple directories (where they belong to).

My projects (with sources)

• Java
  • observations (11kB) - my DEA (Master's thesis) project: "Implementation of Observation Networks in Java Environment". It is a library implementing the observation mechanism, mechanism which allows a image variable to observe a source variable in a distributed system. It is written in Java JDK 1.1 and uses RMI. See also my observation report and my slides above.
• Delphi 2.0 (Windows 95 or upper)
  • an unfinished GO program (human players), the wonderful Japanese board game: go.zip (355kB) - I cannot guarantee the executable is not infected by a virus, I suppose it is not!
  • PressMind - a nice 1-player board game like Minesweeper, which appeared also in the PCTeam revue's CD (1997, February?): pm.zip (200kB) - I cannot guarantee the executable is not infected by a virus, I suppose it is not!
• Pascal for DOS - some little programs:
  • labyrinth - example of recursivity - a labyrinth solution finder, using TurboVision library - I cannot guarantee the executable is not infected by a virus, I suppose it is not!
  • derivate - example of tree creation and use - a program which computes the derivate of a simple function.
  • identical - a challenging program - its execution gives an output identical to its Pascal source. A C program may be found at www.eskimo.com/~scs/C-faq/q20.34.html.
• C for Windows (Windows 3.1 or upper)
  • WinBingo - a board game like Minesweeper: winbingo.zip (74kB) - I cannot guarantee the executable is not infected by a virus, I suppose it is not!
